For the black man, it is not just money and success... it is the delight in humiliating another black man.
A black man doesn't want to be successful if it will not allow him show off. We can't comprehend quiet success. It has to be boisterous, vain and condescending to others.


It is on this premise that we birth the #pepperdem concept.
One step from point A to point B, the black man looks around to see who he can taunt with success that really isn't success, just a natural order of life... as instinctive as moving your head or your arms. Nothing more.
Your career is just taking off, no well thought-out plan just yet, no real success yet, it's still early days... but you are already a star (pronounced: staaaah)... you already have fans... you are already into the #pepperdem crap. Who are you peppering? Nobody. The journey is still far. Why do you need to look around to see who you can hurt with your average goals? Why is it even necessary?
It is why African Americans have to wear their wealth around their necks, dragging thousands of dollars around like a dog.
-Because black success isn't success if it cannot make the next black person uncomfortable.
In Nigeria it's just pathetic. Not for Davido's brother. He is just an idiot born into wealth.
It is mainly for people who take this nonsense seriously.
I'm sure Zuckerberg's dogs eat better than many African children. Oprah's dogs too.
But I'm sure neither Mark nor Oprah's pet sitter would feel the need to take pictures of their pets' food to taunt people living on minimum wage. (Davido's brother is the pet sitter in this case. Born into wealth should, at least, come with some decorum.)
It's unnecessary. It is the game of psychopaths. The lack of ability to show empathy.
We are so average, and in this mind-numbing averageness, we are resplendent in our arrogance.
You have make up on, yet you feel the need to #pepperdem. Makeup lasan. Fake eyelash and contour. O tan.
You manage to pay for a logo design for your zero profit company yet to make one miserable million naira, but you need to sign off with #winning.
How?
I know people who can barely get up in the morning to pursue one goal... right on their beds, they are thinking of ways they can make people jealous of a "success" or some kind of progress that happens only inside their heads.
You pay your rent, it comes with a hashtag #doingitbig. Shouldn't you be able to pay your own damn rent in the first place?
I can't understand.
Not too many black partnerships succeed. Black man wants to buy Range Rover with the first cheque that comes in, even if he has to starve till the next cheque happens.

Man Dies Peacefully After Been Told Trump Had Died

A US WOMAN told her ailing ex-husband and “best friend” that Donald Trump had been impeached in order to let him die peacefully, according to his obituary.

Oregon man Michael Elliot, 76, had suffered declining health in his last years and remained surrounded by “people who loved him dearly” before his death at home two weeks ago.
But apparently it was the new US president Trump, who was figuratively standing in the way of him passing peacefully into the afterlife.

According to his obituary in the The Oregonian, it was not until Teresa Elliott, his former wife and only living relative, lied to him about Trump’s impeachment that he was able to pass on.

“The last thing she said to him was ‘Donald Trump has been impeached’,” the obituary reads.

“Upon hearing that he took his final, gentle breath, his earthly work concluded.”

The obituary said that though Mr Elliot’s marriage to Ms Elliott ended many years ago, they remained firms friends until his death.

“Mike ran out of family long ago and is survived by his ex-wife and best friend, Teresa Elliott,” his obituary read.

“Though their marriage ran aground, their friendship only grew stronger and hers was the last voice Mike heard.”

On how she feels for not emerging winner

I really appreciate the efforts they put in. I’ve heard some of the supports… I appreciate and I say to them all, thanks. I did not get the grand prize but I am a winner. I am absolutely a winner and I am an absolute queen. I went there as Tokunbo Idowu, just a simple girl, but right now I’m a queen. And that crown, that’s my crown, it’s befitting of how I feel right now. So, Efe is the grand prize winner but I’m also a winner. Bisola is a winner, everybody is a winner. So, I don’t feel bad at all.

On surprises following the end of the show

OK. So far, nothing has surprised me. About Thin Tall Tony, I always said it, Tony is a married man. He looks like a married man. He carries himself as someone’s father. I have always been saying that in the house. About this Gifty, actually, I’m not thinking much about that right now. So far, I haven’t heard anything that I would say is surprising.

(Making faces)… See, since I got back (from South Africa), I haven’t slept. I had one hour sleep last night. My head is full with media interviews and so much running around.  A British tourist has died after jumping naked from the window of a hotel above a strip club in Thailand.

Christopher Laidler, 31, had been at a gogo bar on notorious Walking Street in Pattaya, during the country’s Songkran New Year celebrations.He then left and went up to one of the rooms at ‘Walking Street Guest House’ on the third floor above the Sweetheart Agogo club.


According to UK Mirror, at 4.30am horrified passers-by saw him leap naked from the third floor window.Christopher, from Leeds, West Yorks landed on the pavement. Paramedics tried to revive him but he died on the way to hospital.

Police in the crime-ridden city - which had been making desperate efforts to clean up its image - are now investigating.

Eye-witness Pol Nuttinon said:

“There was a lot of panic and the foreigner was naked in the street. He was big and he landed so hard.

“Doctors arrived and they were pumping his heart to try and revive him but he was unconscious.
“This is a big shock because everyone had been in a good party feeling because of Songkran.”

Police Captain Kengsart Nuanpong said the rooms of the guest house were rented on a “daily basis” and none of Christopher’s valuables or possessions were found there

I Am Not Moved By Women - Efe

BBNaija winner, Efe, who had some sort of romantic connection with fellow housemate Marvis, has made it known he is scared of vsiiting Port-Harcourt as that is where Marvis resides.

Speaking with Saturday Beats, Efe said:

“I only kissed Marvis because that was the only thing I wanted to do. I respect women and I cannot afford to be fooling around with them.  “I was never really interested in Debbie Rise and when she came to the house, it was my duty to make her feel comfortable. In the house they told me I had to improve on my niceness because they felt I am not too nice but I tried my best. She took the vibe on a different level so I had to let her know that it was not what she thinks. Her guitar really got on my nerves and I had broken it like 200 times in my mind. Every day I set my eyes on the guitar, I broke it in my mind.”

On an online report saying his slang, ‘Based on logistics’, was popularised by an indigenous Warri rap artiste, Erigga.

 “I am sure that those who said that I did not form the slang just want me to talk. They just want to cause a controversy. A lot of things have been said online that is not true. I coined that word in 2013 when I went for ‘Just Bring it On’ reality show. I won N300,000 on the show. I coined the word because they were having a lot of logistics issues in setting us up because we stayed in the house for two weeks. Each time the guy came to meet us, he would say they had some logistics problem so before he tried to explain to us, I would tell the housemates that the matter was based on logistics in that previous show. I Am Grateful For N250 Gift For Being The Best Graduating Paediatrics student –Omubo, UNIPORT graduate

About two weeks ago, the ews of Joy Omubo, 25, who got N250 as reward for being the best student in Paediatrics, during her convocation at the University of Port Harcourt in the 2014/2015 academic session went viral.

The 25-year old in an interview with Punch, has revealed how she felt receiving the gift.

About the cash prize, I’m grateful for the gesture. I do not feel entitled to anything and nobody actually owes me anything, so I don’t feel sad. I would always be grateful for everything I got and anything it brings to me in the nearest future. I appreciate my lecturers especially the paediatricians because without the knowledge they imparted in me, I wouldn’t have achieved this. I’m also grateful to UNIPORT for giving me the platform to achieve my dreams. The cash reward was inconsequential to me because following this award, I was already recognised at my induction ceremony and the smile on the faces of my family members and friends made the entire journey worthwhile. The Chief Medical Director, University of Port Harcourt Teaching Hospital, Prof. Aaron Ojule, also offered myself and 24 of my colleagues immediate placement for internship. The Association of Resident Doctors gave us a warm reception upon our resumption of internship as well as gifts to celebrate our achievements. So in all, I’m actually very grateful.

If you sometimes have headache after sex, here’s why

Sex is interesting because of its many health benefits.However, as with every good thing, there are also some downsides to having sex!Physicians say that at least one out of 100 people who have sex experience sex headaches. And people who are mostly affected are men!Medically known as coital cephalalgia, sex headaches are head pain that occurs before, during, or after orgasm.

Neurologist/certified headache specialist, Dr. José Biller, says there are two kinds of sex headaches: a dull ache in the head and neck that intensifies as sexual excitement increases; and the second is a sudden, severe, throbbing headache that occurs just before or at the moment of orgasm.

He adds that the condition can also manifest as a headache that occurs after sex; and it can range from mild to extremely painful.

The headache gets worse when the individual stands, and lessens when the person lies down on his/her back, Biller says.

And though experts at the online portal, Mayo Clinic assure that they headaches are usually not dangerous, they quickly warn that sex headaches associated with loss of consciousness, vomiting, stiff neck, other neurological symptoms and severe pain lasting more than 24 hours are more likely to be due to an underlying cause.
Causes

“In a small percentage of cases, these headaches can be due to a serious underlying condition, such as a haemorrhage, brain aneurysm, stroke, cervical artery dissection or subdural hematoma,” Biller says.

Sex specialist, Dr. Carolyn Dean, notes that men are three to four times more likely to experience this painful phenomenon, possibly because men may exert themselves more during sex.

Risk factors/prevention

Low blood sugar may also help lay the foundation for a sex headache. So can a magnesium deficiency, which is linked to headaches in general. Having a history of migraines is also risk factor for sex headaches.

As a prevention, eat magnesium-rich foods like almonds and cashews, dark leafy greens, avocado, and whole grains.

“Aim for low blood pressure, and drink less alcohol,” says Dr. Ehsan Ali.

The bottom line: If you experience sex headaches, see the doctor, even if you think it’s not serious. Reason is, it’s good to make sure that there’s not a serious underlying cause.

“There are treatments a person can take as needed before engaging in sexual activity or daily,” says Ali.

“I know people might get embarrassed by it, but they shouldn’t hesitate to see a doctor — we hear anything and everything,” Ali says.

Caitlyn Jenner thinks Ellen DeGeneres 'alienated' her from the LGBTQ community.

The 67-year-old American television personality, who was pictured out in Malibu on Thursday, appeared on the talk show host's popular show in 2015 after transitioning.

She admitted to Ellen that she had been hesitant to accept gay marriage in the past, prompting the blonde star to describe her guest's views as 'confusing' in a later interview with radio presenter Howard Stern.

Obese baby girl's weight leaves doctors baffled

 A morbidly obese baby has baffled doctors as she tips the scales at nearly THREE stone.

Chahat Kumar was born an average weight but started ballooning in size at the age of four months.
Now eight months old, the bouncing baby weighs in at 38lbs (2.7 stones) - the same as an average four-year-old.

Dad Suraj Kumar, 23, from from Punjab, India, said:

 “When Chahat was born, she was completely normal. Then, slowly we saw that her weight was shooting up.
“Her weight is increasing day by day.”“It’s not our fault. God gave this condition to her. It’s not in our hands. I feel bad when some people laugh at her for being fat.”

 Chahat’s mother Reena, 21, explained:

“Before Chahat, we had a son who died, and then Chahat was born. I am concerned about her health.”She doesn’t eat like a normal kid. She keeps eating all the time. If we don’t give her anything to eat, she starts crying.
“She cries to go out but her weight is too much and we are not able to pick her up. So we only take her to nearby places.”

Due to the excessive weight the baby is now experiencing problems with both her breathing and sleeping. And her condition has even baffled the family’s local doctor in Punjab.Unfortunately Chahat also suffers from abnormally hard skin which has made taking blood samples to analyse her condition more difficult, and the family lack the funds needed to travel further afield for more advanced medical treatment.

Reena explained:
“We don’t have enough money for her treatment but we do our best to make sure she gets well. But the problem is with her skin. Her skin is so hard that doctors have failed to take a sample from her body.”

The Kumar’s doctor, Vasudev Sharma confirmed that the difficulty with taking blood samples has made a medical diagnosis very difficult.

 He said:

 “This is the first case I’ve seen in my life where a child’s weight has been shooting up so much four to five months after birth.
“But the blood test couldn’t be carried out because the fat on the baby’s body was too much, and because of that, the blood test wasn’t done properly.
“We have tried it many times. Her skin is so hard that we can’t ever diagnose her condition.”

Dr Sharma has recommended that the family visit a Pediatric specialist at the Civil Hospital in Amritsar, but the family’s financial restraints has so far made this impossible.

More woes for United Airlines . The same day a passenger was infamously dragged off a United plane in Chicago, a man on a United flight from Houston to Calgary was allegedly stung by a scorpion.
The venomous creature fell from an overhead bin and landed on Richard Bell's hair as he was eating lunch Sunday in his business class seat, according to his wife Linda.She told CNN

"My husband felt something in his hair. He grabbed it out of his hair and it fell onto his dinner table. As he was grabbing it by the tail it stung him,"

She said her husband shooed the scorpion off his tray and it landed in the aisle, catching the attention of a nearby passenger who cried, "Oh my god, that's a scorpion."
It's not clear how the scorpion got on the plane.

Linda Bell said flight attendants quickly corralled the scorpion and flushed it down an airplane toilet.

"Our flight attendants helped a customer who was stung by what appeared to be a scorpion on a flight last week," United said in a statement. "Our crew immediately consulted with a MedLink physician on the ground who provided guidance throughout the incident and assured our crew that it was not a life-threatening matter."

United Airlines said medical personnel met the aircraft when it arrived in Calgary.
According to Linda Bell, another passenger gave her husband a Benadryl pill in case he had an allergic reaction to the sting.
Linda Bell said United reached out to her husband Wednesday to apologize and to offer compensation for the incident. She would not elaborate on the terms of that compensation.
Such incidents are rare, but not unheard of. A scorpion reportedly stung a woman in 2015 on an Alaska Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Portland, Oregon.

Beninese chef steals master’s $59,000, N3.4m,builds mansion

The Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Oyo State Police Command has arrested a Beninese chef, Mathew Kudjo, 25, for allegedly stealing $59,000 and N3.4 million belonging to his boss in Ibadan, the state capital.

Police Commissioner Abiodun Odude ,said Kudjo was arrested in his hideout in Ibadan after breaking into his employer’s apartment at Ikolaba in Ibadan to steal the money.

He said:

“The suspect, on December 12, 2016, betrayed the trust of his master. After successfully carrying out the criminal act, the suspect perfected sinister plan to abscond abroad with the loot, but through intensive investigation coupled with high level intelligence carried out by the Special Squad, the suspect was arrested before he could escape to the United States of America (U.S.A), having procured an international passport, a U.S.A visa and other travel documents with which to travel out of the country.
“Upon interrogating the suspect, who was remorseful, confessed to the crime. He disclosed that he had built an edifice in his home country, Benin Republic, with part of the ill-gotten money. Part of the stolen money and other exhibits were, however, recovered from him.”

The Nation reports exhibits recovered from the suspect included N1.5 million, one international passport and other travel documents.

Kudjo said he was able to steal the money when his boss went to play golf in the club.

He said part of the stolen money has been used to build a house in Benin Republic and he has started planning to relocate to US before he was caught by the police.
